1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to EdFill ("we," "us," "our," or the "Service"). EdFill is an AI-powered worksheet generation platform designed for educators, tutors, parents, and anyone who creates learning materials.
By accessing or using EdFill, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use EdFill. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.
If you are using EdFill on behalf of an organization (such as a school, district, or tutoring company), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Accounts and Access
3.1 Individual Accounts
Each user must create and maintain their own individual EdFill account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3.2 No Account Sharing
Accounts, login credentials, credits, and access to the Service may not be shared, transferred, or used by anyone other than the registered account holder. Each person who uses EdFill must have their own separate account. Sharing accounts or credentials between multiple individuals is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.
3.3 No Credit Sharing
Credits allocated to your account are for your personal use only. Credits may not be shared, transferred, gifted, sold, or otherwise distributed to other users or accounts. Each account's credit balance is independent and non-transferable.
4. Subscription Plans and Credits
4.1 Credit System
EdFill operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered features such as generating or regenerating worksheets. The specific credit cost for each action is determined by EdFill's current credit rules and feature set, which may be updated from time to time.
Certain actions, such as duplicating an existing worksheet, do not consume credits because they reuse previously generated content rather than invoking AI generation.
4.2 Subscription Credit Resets
Subscription credits are replenished according to your plan's billing cycle. At the start of each new billing period, your subscription credit balance resets to the amount specified by your current plan. Unused subscription credits from a prior period do not roll over.
4.3 Upgrades
When you upgrade your subscription plan, the new plan's credits are added on top of your remaining subscription credit balance at the time of the upgrade. For example, if you have 200 credits remaining and upgrade to a plan that includes 1,000 monthly credits, you will receive 1,000 additional credits for a total of 1,200 credits. Your new billing cycle starts on the date of the upgrade, and going forward, only the new plan's monthly credit amount will reset at each billing cycle.
4.4 Downgrades
Subscription downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle (i.e., at your current period's renewal date). Until that date, you retain access to your current plan's features and any remaining credits. Once the downgrade takes effect, your plan switches to the lower tier and your credits update according to the downgraded plan's rules. Downgraded users do not continue to receive the higher-tier monthly credit allocation going forward.
4.5 Credit Packs
EdFill may offer one-time credit packs for purchase. Credit packs are non-refundable and expire 90 days after purchase. Expired credits are forfeited and cannot be recovered.
4.6 No Refunds
All purchases — including subscription payments and credit pack purchases — are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no partial or prorated refunds will be issued for the remaining period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use EdFill only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
6.1 No Guarantee of Accuracy
EdFill uses artificial intelligence to generate worksheet content. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific educational context. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or appropriateness of any content generated by the Service.
6.2 User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated content before using it in any classroom, educational, professional, or other setting. EdFill is a tool to assist with content creation — it is not a substitute for professional judgment, curriculum expertise, or pedagogical review.
6.3 Educational Standards
AI-generated worksheets may not align with specific curriculum standards, grade-level expectations, or institutional requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure that any materials you use meet the applicable educational standards and are appropriate for your intended audience.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Service Rights
EdFill and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by EdFill and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service except for the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.
7.2 User Content
You retain ownership of any original content you input into the Service (such as prompts, instructions, and custom text). By using the Service, you grant EdFill a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
7.3 Generated Content
Worksheets and other content generated by the Service using AI are provided to you for your personal and professional use. You may use, modify, print, and distribute generated worksheets for educational purposes. However, you may not claim that AI-generated content was created entirely by you in contexts where such a claim would be misleading.

8.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property provisions.

11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EdFill and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
